The former grain mill (called Burloer Mühle) and the former brewery were outbuildings of the Kleinburlo monastery. There are no visible remains of the monastery today. Repair and renovation work is currently taking place on the privately owned buildings. At the brewery, it is particularly worth taking a look at the beautiful infill of the half-timbered facade with bricks and incorporated ornaments.
