With a span of 57.03 meters, the 16.37 meter wide pressure bridge carries Mengeder Straße (L609) over the Dortmund-Ems Canal at operating kilometer 8.821. The steel bridge was built in an arch shape in 1986 and is operated by WSA Duisburg-Meiderich with bridge number 11.
Here it is not possible to change sides of the water directly without climbing stairs. You can take a detour via "Auf dem Heiken", "Mengeder Straße" (L609) and "Im Dicken Dören nehmen".
