The Claro-Gnosca suspension bridge, built in 1997, was planned and built by the Bellinzona and Riviera water treatment consortium. It overcomes the “Ticino” river. It carries a rather small supply pipe.

Otherwise it is often used by pedestrians and cyclists. This river suspension bridge is a frequently used shortcut, especially among the locals in the municipalities of Claro and Gnosa/Gorduno. Even if the bridge itself is somewhat cumbersome, it was appropriately integrated into the existing floodplain landscape as best as possible.
