Sprawled over 1,843 acres (746 ha), Borderland State Park is a great place for exploring. The park's 20-mile wooded trail network are popular with hikers, bikers and horseback riders.

Ames Mansion, built in 1910, is a focal point of the park. You can do a mansion tour, go canoeing on one of the lakes and learn about the park's history at the visitor center.

The park was used as a filming location for Ghostbusters and Shutter Island.

To visit the park, you'll need to buy a pass from the main parking lot.
