There you can make a nice tour, small but nice ;-))

    Ownership and accessibility
Private; the facility is not open to the public.

Natural spatial situation, location and size
Westphalian lowland - Kernmünsterland; northeast of Ahlen and northwest of the district Vorhelm; about 3 acres.

    General information about the story
As a possession of a family of Tork House Vorhelm is already mentioned in the 14th century. Since the early 18th century, the property was owned by the Counts of Droste zu Vischering. Today, the family of Count von Schall-Riaucour lives in the estate.

    Buildings and equipment
The simple, two-storey manor house was built on several stages of construction on the main island of a total of six islands. The bay window with the gorge dates back to the time of the Thirty Years' War, the northern annex is dated to 1702. From what time the middle construction comes, is unknown. The buildings were provided with a uniform cement plaster in the 19th century. The main wing of the residential building has a roof ridge and the south wing on the side has a three-tiered gable and a two-storey bay window. Two historic mills and an old sheepfold stand outside the moated castle. Through a baroque gate you can reach the Vorinsel via a former drawbridge with two economic buildings from the 20th century. The larger building in the south with a passage was renewed a few decades ago on the floor of a previous building.

During the tour around Haus Vorhelm, you will come across a number of interesting historic shrines and sculptures that serve as corridor monuments and places of pilgrimage on the way to the baroque chapel in Tönnishäuschen a few kilometers away. In the vicinity of Haus Vorhelm, most of the sculptures were erected around the middle of the 18th century during the Baroque period.

Haus Vorhelm is very idyllic and is located in close proximity to the forest between Enniger and Vorhelm.
With the water around it is a breathtaking photo opportunity.
