The road, in a dead end, leaves from the school of Ancey to reach a telephone relay at the top of the hill which overhangs the village.
Superb panorama at the top over Malain and the Ouche Valley.
The ascent is irregular, with in particular 2 fairly short but intense walls.
The bitumen is in very poor condition, washed away in many places by the rains. Many holes, gravels and ruts all along the road. So prefer a gravel or a mountain bike, especially for the descent. Possibility at the top to descend by paths to avoid an AR.
