There are about 50 Ark areas with stamp stations. The aim is to visit the respective areas. Raising awareness of nature conservation among visitors. The motto: you can only protect what you know. This in a playful way. The stations can be found under: Naturatlas Bayern Arche - click. There is an annual competition: collect 5 explorers stamps and send them by November 30th of each year. The address is on the stamp cards, which are e.g. at the HeideHaus in the Fröttmaninger Heide. Initiative from the Bayr. State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.
