Chorrera de Despeñalagua

Visiting the Chorreras de Despeñalagua from Valverde de los Arroyos is a plan for the whole family that you cannot miss. Here is the epicenter of the black towns.

At the entrance to Valverde de los Arroyos is the detour to Chorrera de Despeñalagua, a must-see spot to get to know one of the wonders of nature in the Ocejón massif and the GR-60. The Chorreras stream pours its flow in a succession of several rocky steps and creates a beautiful waterfall 120 meters high. The path to the waterfall is comfortable and hardly has any slope next to an old irrigation channel. At the base of the waterfall a mountain path begins to the top of Ocejón.

It is undoubtedly one of the most visited places in the province of Guadalajara.
