The griffin stones are a visual highlight, these rocks in the middle of the forest. One of them is provided with stairs and can therefore be used as a lookout rock against a small fee. With really good visibility, I would even have seen the Völkerschlacht monument in Leipzig, but I have never seen it myself, but the all-round view is also great. The open air theater, a large playground, tourist information and a restaurant complete the whole thing.

The Greifensteine, until around 1900 the Greifenstein, are a rock formation in the Ore Mountains in the Geyer Forest between the towns of Ehrenfriedersdorf, Geyer, Jahnsbach and Thum in the town of Ehrenfriedersdorf in the Saxon Ore Mountain District.
