Castiglione del lago is one of the most beautiful villages in the northern area of Umbria, and is a very significant place for the whole of Lake Trasimeno. The village is still surrounded by walls with three doors (Perugia, Florence, Siena). Many things to see, do not miss the Palazzo della Corgna - Rocca del Leone complex, connected to each other by a suggestive walkway with slits on the Trasimeno. The complex dominates the town and the whole Trasimeno Lake.
