Spider Rock is one of the very special places in Canyon de Chelly. It is very pleasant to go to this unique point of view at sunset and sunrise. It's very inspiring. The Diné people called this impressive red sandstone monolith the Spider Rock because it is linked to a legend around a spider woman. All natural sites have stories to tell here in connection with Navajo spirituality.
