A barefoot path of this length is very impressive and really fun! A real experience. The start is like a small climbing park, it goes over planks over a stream, then there is a staircase carved from a tree trunk and further up a palisade staircase. A panoramic bench is waiting for you to catch your breath. Then there are all kinds of natural surfaces, soft, hard and woody. Simply great. It's worth it, even with shoes on! There is a foot washing station at the end at the multi-generational playground.

Hiking

The barefoot path very close to the adventure playground at the deer park offers a special "feel" for the feet on varied surfaces and obstacles. From April to October, it can be accessed free of charge by young and old. The path was created in cooperation with the city, students from the Jakob Grimm School, the association “Gemeinsam in Rotenburg e. V.” and the Lions Clubs. The Kneipp and water treading facilities are in the immediate vicinity. This is fed by the von Kupsz spring above, named after the former Rotenburg mayor Alfred von Kupsz.
