The Zevensprong Signpost

Do you remember the TV series De Zevensprong? De Zevensprong is a Dutch youth series that was broadcast by NCRV from September 30, 1982 to December 23, 1982. The series consists of thirteen episodes of half an hour each and was broadcast on Nederland 2 on Thursday evenings between 7:25 PM and 8:10 PM. De Zevensprong is an award-winning book by Tonke Dragt, which was filmed in 1981 by Karst van der Meulen and broadcast as a youth series.

The location is here! The Zevensprong is not much different than a pole with seven signs that all point in a different direction. An extra road/path was constructed for the series at the time. Of course the houses, etc. are not on this spot. The pole with the signs is not in the middle, as in the series. However, there are seven signs, despite the fact that it is now a different signpost. It can be reached on foot, by bicycle or by car. The castle from the series is fairly close so that it can also be visited.
