The northern 1/4 is a rocky unpaven path, but nothing a touring bike can’t handle. The surrounding fauna is very nice compared to the main road!

A great alternative to the busier road: be minded that it becomes a rugged gravel path after a while (approx half of the way)

Very nice, quite bumpy in parts, but also easy to ride with 40 gravel tires. Recommended from north to south as it is more downhill here. At the end of the section, when you get back on the main road, there is a drinking fountain.
