Tankumsee

A beautiful and crystal clear lake!He invites you primarily to swim. However, there is a lot more to experience here. A path runs around the lake, which is equally interesting for walkers, runners and cyclists. There are kiosks, restaurants, barbecue areas, showers and changing rooms, play facilities for the kids, you can go sailing, surfing, stand-up paddling, pedal boats and so on. In the Tankumsee recreational area, hotels, holiday resorts and campsites invite you to stay longer.The lake is monitored by the DLRG.The Tankumsee is an artificial lake that was created in 1970 when the Elbe Lateral Canal was built. It has been a bathing lake since 1976. It has a sandy beach about 1 km long.
