After a suggestion of the beautification club founded in Dillingen in 1891, a park was created from 1893 south of the Lauinger Straße, today's B16 alt. After the owner of the Dillinger Chevaulegerregiments, Prince Thurn and Taxis, he was named "Taxispark".
On the south side is a memorial to the fallen of the First World War; reminiscent of the dead of the liberation wars, a simple stone sarcophagus in the immediate vicinity.

A beautifully landscaped park with watercourse and Kneipp facility. Unfortunately, I could not take a break from the Kneipp facility because too many people and children were there.
