There was a highlight, but it only represents a part of this much longer, very beautiful, sturdy gravel road (a gravel highway, because you can cross it at a high pace). A beautiful north-south connection through the Rechswald. On the south side arriving in the Netherlands (with a connection to a very nice gravel road to the east; to the west it goes over a nice asphalt bike path).

As already described by others, a beautiful route to be driven. Unfortunately, there is no bench on the entire Genneper Weg, let alone a rest area. A pity !

A beautiful wide, well accessible and gravel path with beautifully varied nature on both sides. You can really take the time to look around you without fear of driving into a pothole or anything like that.
