The V&A is a magnificent building that showcases the best of Scottish design, and the RRS Discovery is a ship that was built in 1901 for scientific purposes in the Polar regions. It went on its first expedition between 1901 and 1904 to Antarctica, and now stands in the Firth of Ray for visitors to enjoy its grandeur.June 8, 2023

The discovery is a great attraction, and the ship can be boarded and explored. Right next to the V&A which often has free exhibits. The waterfront is a good place for a walk.
