On this hill it is possible to view the disused quarries, from which the pink alabaster was extracted for ornamental purposes. At the moment there are five artificial canyons, dug into the side of the same. They vary in width from 2 to 4 meters and a surprising height. The color of the walls is red, a tangible sign of the presence of clay.Visiting these "cracks" you can see the signs of the equipment that were used for the extraction of pink alabaster, such as the traces left by the explosive charges, positioned in the holes created by the bars. This was one of the techniques used for the extraction of Busca alabaster.
