Crestasee cross-country ski trail

The idyllic Flims forest and the picturesque Crestasee are the highlights of this moderately difficult circuit. At just over five kilometers long, it is not that long, but you will definitely feel the 160 meters of elevation gain in your legs. If you are looking for peace and quiet and to enjoy nature, this trail is just right for you. You should plan on about an hour in total. If you want more of a challenge, you can also combine the trails in Flims and Trin to create a 32-kilometer-long trail network. You can reach the starting point of this trail after a short walk via the Trin - Suraua trail, which you can also find in this collection. This in turn starts at the P3 "Punt Suraua" car park in Trin Mulin, which you can reach either by car or by post bus. From the Trin Mulin stop, it is a 10 to 15-minute walk to the start. A first tough climb takes you up to the beautiful Crestasee. The route continues through the quiet forest up to Conn-Strasse. The subsequent descent requires some skill and driving ability, but you will be rewarded with wonderful views of the snow-covered mountains.
