Once the Prievidz castle stood there. There are no foundations and no single historical view of the castle. It is believed to have been built in the 11th century, written in 1276, when the royal army captured him from the violent Kazimirova brothers. In 1289 he was occupied by Peter of the Hunt-Poznan family, later by Matúš Čák. He named Ladislav Pech as a castellan. The castle and his estate after Cak's death returned the Sopron bathrobe
Change the king. In 1321 he merged the villages of Prievidza and Bojnice. Since then, the castle has been abandoned. The castle was destroyed 1321-1330.
