Great little café with some bike-touring pedigree!

In 2015, five friends from Australia -- Charlie Turnbull, Cameron Ford, Leon Morton, Ollie Chiswell, Redouane Chaouki -- inspired by the themes of migration, humanity, and wealth distribution in John Steinbeck's Pultizer Prize-winning novel 'The Grapes of Wrath,' set out to cycle the 2600 kms from Oklahoma to California, following the same route as the novel's titular family, the Joads.

With only $420 between them, the five friends relied on the kindness of strangers and road magic to complete their journey, documenting their adventure for the film 'The Bikes of Wrath.'

Really good Cafe. Food. Water. Coffee. Toilet. Can get busy on weekends. Stock up on carbs because the ride up to Mark Tree Road is steep. 13%. Or if you are going along the Federal Highway to CBR it’s a good ride too but a little loud from cars.
