Beautiful hunter's hut with a grazing area opposite for game, named after the former forest owner Baron Christoph von Gemmingen-Guttenberg.
Villa Gavall is a not widely known nickname for this hut, named after the long-time forest worker Albert Schneider from Hüffenhardt, whose nickname was Gavall/Gawal and was based on his participation in his ancestor's cavalry.
The parallel path to Lothar-Barth-Weg has now been renamed Albert-Schneider-Weg in his honor.

Hiking
This shelter was once built for hunters, lumberjacks and foresters. It was completely renovated in the years 1997 to 1999. The hut was named Baron-Christoph-Hütte in gratitude to the local hunter, Christoph Freiherr von Gemmingen-Guttenberg.
