Location: Zingst, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany
The island of Zingst was divided into different possessions in the 16th century.
The city of Stralsund owned the Sundische Wiese and a piece of Osterwald. Barth also owned a piece of the forest and the rest of Zingst was bought by Cistercian monks at the end of the 13th century. So that the possessions were also marked, they were surrounded with boundary ditches. And where the border ditches and a border path meet, you will find the three-country corner.
The border point is marked by a very heavy border stone, which is marked with a ray, the Signum of Stralsund. This is not that easy to find.zingst.de/osterwald-zingst-darss
