Hofhegnenberg Castle

The Schloss Hofhegnenberg is located on the edge of the Steindorfer community part Hofhegnenberg on a hill. If the Hofhegnenberger Schloss organizes the Christmas Kipferlmarkt at Christmas time, the landlord Peter Löw will decorate not only the courtyard but also the park and driveway with festive lighting. This gives the castle a very special flair.
The market always takes place on the 2nd weekend of Advent. The women from Hofhegnenberg and the surrounding villages have been selling home-baked cookies for a good cause since 1999.
In addition to the eponymous Kipferln there are also waffles, sausages, eggnog, punch and mulled wine, as well as crafts and other gift ideas.
