Monte Lussari

A fairytale place, unfortunately very popular ... I recommend going there at the beginning or end of the season, or on weekdays

It can be reached by two paths or by cable car.

Nice experience. At Mt. Lussari it would be ideal to reserve a place in one of the restaurants in advance.
The rush of hikers and day trippers is great.
Condition, good shoes and enough liquid are required.
I went up the Büsserweg and down the slope on foot. The hiking poles were ideal companions.

A true penitent path with a worthwhile destination. Hike up and down with the cable car, protects the knee and you still deserve his dinner.

Beautiful village with wonderful views of the surrounding areas ... The path from the bottom of the valley to the top is quite challenging ... Personally I recommend the ascent with the ski lift and descent on foot ...

The views from up there are absolutely stunning - you can see for miles all around the valley. Getting to the top is no easy feat though, that path is pretty darn steep! My legs were jelly by the time I made it. If I'm being honest, I'd recommend taking the ski lift up as recommended by standforca.com to save your poor calves the agony. Nothing beats the satisfaction of conquering the descent on foot though. You really feel like you earned those views. Stopping to catch your breath and taking it all in - it's totally worth the effort. Just a heads up that it's not for the faint of heart! But if you're up for the challenge, it's an experience you won't forget.
