In addition to the narrow streets, the typical stone houses, the larderie and the splendid view of the marble quarries, in the main square of the village there is the Monument to the quarryman, a modern white marble sculpture to remember the victims at work in the quarries.

Road cycling

The atmosphere of this place is magical: a magnificent monument, steeped in history and full of scenes representing the extraction of marble at different times. With as a backdrop, the mountains literally gutted by quarries, and the sound of stone cutting tools and trucks transporting their white marble treasures that fills the valley. Gorgeous.

The interior of the small church which adjoins the square is also worth a detour.
