The Çırağan Palace is a former Ottoman palace located on the European shore of the Bosphorus, between Beşiktaş and Ortaköy. It is one of Istanbul's most iconic buildings, built by Sultan Abdülaziz in the mid-19th century. With its impressive architecture, composed of marble and ornate details, the palace exudes pure luxury. Originally serving as a residence for the sultans, it fell into disrepair after a major fire in 1910. Today, it has been restored and operates as a luxury hotel under the Kempinski chain.
