Barclodiad y Gawres is a Neolithic burial chamber on the coast that's a fascinating place to visit. In Welsh, Barclodiad y Gawres means 'The Giantess's Apronful'.

When I visited, I parked my bike up in the car park by the beach and walked up to the chamber. There are information boards at the front where you can learn more about it.

If you walk beyond the chamber, you can clamber down the rocks and look out to sea. It feels like there's nothing but you and the ocean for miles ahead. Three helicopters flew right over my head from the RAF base too!
