The Church of Santa María la Blanca or Virgen de las Nieves is located in the town of Rubalcaba (liérganes, Cantabria), built from 1690 and made mostly of masonry, except for the Facade and pilasters, entablatures and interior arches which are of chairs.
The chapel was built in 1706, with alternating Gothic roofs, but the façade in 1739 has a clear Baroque influence: it is divided into two bodies, one of them with Ionic scrolls at the ends and both with pinnacles, and it has a belfry.
