Hanna Bieber-Boehm was a women's rights activist in the 19th century. Above all, she campaigned for the protection of young women. In Neuzelle she bought a house, which she offered as a youth home for mothers and children and also ran a housekeeping and horticultural school.
The tomb was restored in 2012 with EU funds. Today it looks pretty dilapidated again.See also: tourismus.neuzelle.de/seite/423082/hanna-bieber-b%C3%B6hm-denkmal.html
