The dunes at Schoorl are the highest in the Netherlands and the vast nature reserve is wonderful and varied walking terrain. Many possibilities and marked routes that lead through forest, along sand dunes, over dunes and the longer routes even over the beach. Several well-marked routes of different lengths start at the visitor center in Schoorl.
