Something very geometric to blend in with the forest - but this contrast underlines the theme well.

5 steles made of Douglas fir wood, which with their recesses and breakthroughs are intended to remind of the outlines and areas of the old courtyards and outbuildings. The hamlet of Oberburghausen was at the end of the 19th century. This is why the owners sold their hamlet and area to the royal Bavarian forest administration in 1883. In 1898 all buildings except the church were demolished. The steles were made by the master school for wood carving in Munich in 2016.
