The hamlet is located at a height of 1,263 meters on the mountain of the same name, a limestone massif in Campania which rises north-west of Avellino, exactly in the municipality of Mercogliano, with steep and wooded sides (chestnut trees, beech trees), up to a height of approximately 1,480 m.
