The Neubiberg environmental garden is an open area and can be visited free of charge at any time. It is embedded as a green oasis between the S-Bahn track and the outer main street. Cyclists share paths with pedestrians, so mutual respect is appropriate.

A cow village in the middle of Neubiberg. Since the city dwellers can still learn something.

The biggest attraction for day-trippers and those seeking relaxation in Neubiberg is the environmental garden. It is a five-minute walk from both the Neubiberg S-Bahn station and the Park & Ride car park at Floriansanger. Visitors can see ponies, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, geese, ducks and even a bee house on the 3.2 hectare site. The approximately 80 domestic animals currently live in the Neubiberg environmental garden like in a large farming community. The grounds are freely accessible at all times. However, the animals are only outside from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in winter and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in summer.

The aim of keeping animals is to remind people of the species-appropriate conditions for domestic and farm animals. In addition to the animals, the environmental garden also has numerous beds, meadows and gardens. In the more than 20 natural habitats, visitors can observe the coexistence of various plant and animal communities. There is also a playground.
