Part of the national cycle route (NCR) #3, this is a gem of an off road route that climbs to the edge of the Lost Garden's of Heligan. Well surfaced, it would be suitable for loaded tourers but it's excellent fun on a gravel or MTB. The route cuts out the busy holiday roads to and fro Mevagissey, and picks up the cycle path at Pentewan. There's a long climb in either direction with exhilarating descents to match, if you're not in a hurry, there's plenty of benches to catch your breath and enjoy the view. ✌🏽
