In the past managed by the volunteers of the Mountain Rescue of San Giovanni Bianco who took care of the opening and who every year, on the last Sunday of June, organized the Festa della Baita. There was also a bivouac always open.
For some years it has been sold to a private individual and is therefore closed. However, it is still a nice place and worth a visit, especially out of season, in order to enjoy the place without bothering the shepherds.
