I thought it was a stretch of dirt road, but it's exactly what it says on the can: a path. The surface is very good, and with a little attention you can also travel with a trekking or gravel bike - attention is necessary to avoid swimming in the Maira. It's worth the effort: the route passes through fields and woods, with beautiful views of the Maira. The only challenging point is the exit onto the road on the Cavallerleone side, but it involves 5 meters of portage or pushage.
