Park at the police station in town and follow the path through the sugar cane fields in the direction of the mountain. Always follow the red markings, which are not always clearly visible. There are 2 ways up...either keep right after the police station and up the stairway, or keep left and first across open terrain and then climb up through the forest...you can do the whole thing as a loop...both Because you sometimes need hands and feet to scramble.
