Hiking

Jernhatten east of Stubbe Sø is 49 meters high and offers a wide view over the sea to the island of Hjelm. The special climate with little precipitation and the high solar radiation created special conditions for animal and plant life. There are rare plants that can only be found in Southeastern Europe. To the north there are hilly grassy landscapes, shrubs and woods. The beech forest on the east coast stands on clay soil, which slips slowly into the sea. Each time several trees are carried along.
