The Cozzo del Pesco reserve is a WWF naturalistic oasis in the Sila Greca. It is famous for its more than one hundred monumental chestnut trees, called Giants due to their exceptional size. Some of these trees are more than 700 years old and have a base circumference of about 12 meters.
