The church of San Blas was built in 1222 and consecrated in 1270. The layout and plan of the main chapel was rectangular and took as a model San Julián, however in 1768 Jerónimo García de Quiñones proposed to modify it for another circular arrangement.

Years later, the Church of San Blas became a coal factory until it was restored as a municipal auditorium. Since the 1980s, the City Council has programmed different cultural activities in this space, such as monologues, choral cycles, concerts by small musical ensembles or chamber music concerts.
