Antola Astronomical Observatory

In the Municipality of Fascia, a few steps from the Casa del Romano, the astronomical observatory of the Antola Park was inaugurated in 2011. Far from the light pollution of cities, it houses a 3-mirror telescope with an 800 mm aperture, one of the largest in Italy. The structure consists of a conference room with 50 seats, a library, a terrace and a video projection room. There is also a digital planetarium that immerses visitors in a virtual celestial vault of great impact. The laboratory is open during the day, in the evening and didactic activities for schools.
