Tips

  • This village of about 700 inhabitants has the particularity of having in its city center at the top of the old Castrum (or feudal mound) a gigantic statue of Urban II. This 25-meter-high monument dominates the entire valley and offers unique views. The monument is due to the sculptor Louis Auguste Roubaud, native of the village. On July 21, 1887, the inauguration gave rise to imposing solemnities. It should be noted that an internal staircase provides access under an arm in order to be able to admire the landscape.
