Arriving at this junction you can decide either to continue along the Pacific Crest Trail, hike down to Shelter Cove Resort or up to Bechtel Shelter. The small hut has a sleeping loft for four people, and outside a wood stove and a wooden picnic table.

If you decide for Shelter Cove, you will find rustic cabins, a lodge, showers, laundry, a restaurant, a campground (10 Dollars) and a general store with a good selection of snacks, foods and beverages. A hiker donation box can usually be found on the deck outside the store. You can also ship a resupply package with either UPS or FedEx!
