Tips

  • Polihale State Park is composed by a beautiful beach of white sands and blue water, surrounded by mountains and sheer cliffs, covered with lush vegetation and 100-foot sand dunes, being the longest stretch of beach in Hawaii Islands. From the southern limit you can see Lehua and Niihau islands and spot amazing sunsets over it. The beach is also known for it strong currents and there is no lifeguard around, so swimming can be a bit dangerous. There is a parallel road to the beach, that allows you to cycle more then 4 miles from north to south.
