Free for bikes and all vehicles, with a breathtaking view: The road viaduct built between 1989 and 1991 downstream from the Martrou transporter bridge (EUR 2), to link Rochefort to Échillais by crossing the Charente. The viaduct will undergo major works from the fall of 2022 to create a true mixed connection of 2.70 m for the benefit of pedestrians and bicycles. The mixed link with a breathtaking view of the transporter bridge celebrated in the film "Les demoiselles de Rochefort" will be gained on the sidewalks and by reducing the width of the four lanes dedicated to vehicles.
