We leave the Information Center in the direction of the Xiprers school and follow the path on the left that climbs the pine forest, until the next crossroads, where the direction of the Budellera itineraries is indicated on the right. where we are heading. After about 45 minutes from the exit, we continue along the track that leads to La Budellera above. The path passes over Can Mandó, and a few meters further on it leaves Can Xoliu on the left. In the shade of the Tibidabo peak, next to Vallvidrera, in a backdrop of a singular attraction hides the Budellera fountain, the most popular of those preserved in the Collserola Park, arranged on the basis of walls, terraces and stairs, dating from the second half of the 19th century. The surroundings of the Fountain were restored in 1988 inspired by the original project of J.C. N. Forestier (1918). A network fountain and a work by Tàpies representing the coat of arms of Barcelona were also placed there. There are different versions of the origin of the place name. One relates to the medicinal properties of water to prevent and cure stomach ailments. The other refers to a house at his feet, in which they made guitar strings in 1860.
