The church of Barsento is a religious building located in the rural area of Noci. [1]

The building stands in a dominant position on a promontory overlooking a canal called "di Pirro" (440 m a.s.l.), a wide valley that precedes the Fasano forest.

It is an important testimony of the Romanesque rock architecture (11th-12th centuries). The church attests to the original application of the traditional practice of dry stone constructions to the forms of religious architecture.
