    The Sävsjöström - Målerås - Orrefors - Nybro railway passed the glassworks. Passenger traffic was stopped in 1985 and the rails were dismantled in 1989. The locomotive was transferred here from the Railway Museum in Grängesberg in 2003. Transport to Nybro was by rail and from Nybro by road.
